Because we understand that our business directly impacts the world's resources, we continuously strive to attain high sustainability standards. Therefore, we incorporate green construction principles into our project designs in ways that enable us to balance the interests of our environment, communities, employees, and customers.

We are meeting the standards of sustainability in the following ways:

• We have knowledge about and experience with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and have LEED-accredited professionals across all of our divisions.
• We adhere to the LEED Green Building rating system, which provides a set of internal workplace sustainability guidelines that we use to ensure that we are producing healthy and productive places for our community members to live, work, and enjoy.
• Because we develop processes that follow LEED standards, we design residential and commercial buildings to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Environmental protection precautions and procedures are implemented from the initial development phase of every project and reconsidered at every phase throughout the entire project.

Our standards for green construction are integral components of each project's core functionality. This – ultimately – reduces every project's environmental impact on the world.
